Bharti Infratel lost 6.61% to Rs 425.60 at 14:35 IST on BSE after a large bulk deal of 64.25 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 432 per share at 10:41 IST on BSE.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 112.12 points, or 0.34% to 33,259.25.
Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On the BSE, 69.05 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 15.59 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 456 and a low of Rs 421.10 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 481.90 on 17 October 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 283.10 on 31 January 2017.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 26 October 2017, rising 19.47% compared with 6.38% rise in the Sensex. The scrip also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 12.88% as against Sensex's 2.59% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one year, surging 28.2% as against Sensex's 18.74% rise.
The large-cap company has equity capital of Rs 1849.61 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
On a consolidated basis, net profit of Bharti Infratel declined 12.21% to Rs 663.90 crore on 9.66% rise in net sales to Rs 1593.40 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
