Biocon net profit rises 126.53% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 17.48% to Rs 537.57 crore

Net profit of Biocon rose 126.53% to Rs 86.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 38.29 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 17.48% to Rs 537.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 457.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 17.63% to Rs 324.31 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 275.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 14.18% to Rs 2098.07 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1837.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
