Birla Ericsson Optical net profit rises 3111.54% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 170.34% to Rs 97.62 crore

Net profit of Birla Ericsson Optical rose 3111.54% to Rs 8.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.26 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 170.34% to Rs 97.62 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 36.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 238.14% to Rs 19.24 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 5.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 137.94% to Rs 286.41 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 120.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
