Birla Ericsson Optical standalone net profit declines 49.22% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 23.10% to Rs 75.07 crore

Net profit of Birla Ericsson Optical declined 49.22% to Rs 4.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 8.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 23.10% to Rs 75.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 97.62 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit declined 35.03% to Rs 12.50 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 19.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales declined 10.00% to Rs 257.77 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 286.41 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
