At meeting held on 19 December 2017
The Board of Coal India at its meeting held on 19 December 2017 has approved the introduction of Evacuation Facility Charges @ Rs 50 per tonne for despatch of coal on all despatches except despatch through rapid loading arrangement. This will come into force with immediate effect.As a result, the Company would be generating approximately an additional revenue of Rs 2500 crore for the full year and approximately Rs 800 crore for the balance period of 2017-18.
