Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation leads gainers on BSE's 'A' group

Jaiprakash Associates, Indiabulls Real Estate, GAIL (India) and Hindustan Construction Company are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 29 September 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 226.68 points, or 0.72% to 31,509.16.

Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation surged 9.73% at Rs 1,296.45. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.44 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Jaiprakash Associates spurted 9.04% at Rs 18.10. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.09 crore shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.40 crore shares in the past two weeks.

Indiabulls Real Estate jumped 6.88% at Rs 221.50. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 20.83 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 34.56 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

GAIL (India) climbed 6.63% at Rs 422.40. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 7.37 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.43 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) rose 6.56% at Rs 34.90. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 17.43 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 16.31 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
