Brigade Enterprises gains after launching a new residential project in Bangalore

Brigade Enterprises rose 2.87% to Rs 164.70 at 13:18 IST on BSE after the company announced the launch of a residential project viz. Plumeria at Brigade Meadows, a new phase of luxury apartments in Bangalore.

The announcement was made on Saturday, 21 November 2015.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 42.42 points or 0.16% at 25,826.07.

On BSE, so far 32,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 11,237 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 170.30 and a low of Rs 159.80 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 179.60 on 2 February 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 121 on 25 August 2015.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 20 November 2015, gaining 4.16% compared with Sensex's 5.27% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, surging 7.96% as against Sensex's 6.3% fall.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 113.08 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

On consolidated basis, Brigade Enterprises' net profit rose 87.5% to Rs 38.70 crore on 7.4% decline in net sales to Rs 327.77 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
