Britannia Industries net profit rises 4.19% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 8.96% to Rs 1619.77 crore

Net profit of Britannia Industries rose 4.19% to Rs 91.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 87.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 8.96% to Rs 1619.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1486.63 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 58.13% to Rs 369.83 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 233.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 12.00% to Rs 6232.09 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 5564.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
