Burnpur Cement net profit declines 55.56% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 20.54% to Rs 26.81 crore

Net profit of Burnpur Cement declined 55.56% to Rs 0.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.63 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 20.54% to Rs 26.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 33.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 14.83% to Rs 2.70 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 3.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 3.49% to Rs 97.30 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 94.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
