Carborundum Universal consolidated net profit rises 35.82% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 16.55% to Rs 638.44 crore

Net profit of Carborundum Universal rose 35.82% to Rs 62.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 46.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 16.55% to Rs 638.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 547.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 19.49% to Rs 219.59 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 183.78 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 12.04% to Rs 2330.46 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2080.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
