Carborundum Universal standalone net profit declines 69.43% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 17.08% to Rs 343.37 crore

Net profit of Carborundum Universal declined 69.43% to Rs 29.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 95.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 17.08% to Rs 343.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 293.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 21.61% to Rs 116.28 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 148.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.22% to Rs 1280.99 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1151.79 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
