Carborundum Universal standalone net profit rises 16.61% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 18.49% to Rs 439.11 crore

Net profit of Carborundum Universal rose 16.61% to Rs 52.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 45.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 18.49% to Rs 439.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 370.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 17.83% to Rs 143.48 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 121.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 12.19% to Rs 1551.37 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1382.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
