Carborundum Universal standalone net profit rises 52.14% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 8.56% to Rs 370.58 crore

Net profit of Carborundum Universal rose 52.14% to Rs 45.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 29.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.56% to Rs 370.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 341.36 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 4.59% to Rs 121.77 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 116.43 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.58% to Rs 1382.77 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1273.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
