Celebrity Fashions net profit rises 141.86% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 16.02% to Rs 66.83 crore

Net profit of Celebrity Fashions rose 141.86% to Rs 17.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 7.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 16.02% to Rs 66.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 79.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 8.34 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 4.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 24.05% to Rs 221.38 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 178.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
