Celebrity Fashions standalone net profit rises 624.07% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 65.67% to Rs 58.30 crore

Net profit of Celebrity Fashions rose 624.07% to Rs 30.99 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 4.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 65.67% to Rs 58.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 35.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 21.40 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 2.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.89% to Rs 182.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 184.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
