Central Bank of India net profit declines 3.97% in the March 2014 quarter

Total Operating Income rise 10.43% to Rs 6369.21 crore

Net profit of Central Bank of India declined 3.97% to Rs 162.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 169.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Total Operating Income rose 10.43% to Rs 6369.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 5767.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 1262.84 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 1014.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Total Operating Income rose 11.74% to Rs 24427.55 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 21860.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
