China share market closed session lower on Friday, 25 May 2018, as sentiment soured on lingering China-US trade worries after Donald Trump's decision to call off his summit with North Korea's Kim Jong Un. Most sectors lost ground on Friday, exception being consumer and healthcare firms as investors sought shelter in the two defensive sectors. The CSI 300, which tracks the large caps listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen, eased by 0.28%, or 10.72 points, to 3,816.50. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.42%, or 13.35 points, to 3,141.30 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dropped 0.93%, or 17.02 points, to 1,810.03. For the week, Shanghai Composite Index slid 1.6%, while CSI300 declined 2.2%, posting their worst weekly drops since late April.
