China market tumbles on weak factory data
Capital Market The Mainland China's stock market declined on Wednesday, 23 September 2015, after worse than expected preliminary factory data intensified concerns about the pace of the world's second-biggest economic growth. The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 2.19%, or 69.73 points, to 3115.89 points. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, declined 0.83%, or 14.46 points, to 1736.44. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.04%, or 0.73 point, to close at 2077.99.
