China stocks dive to 5-week low
Capital Market Mainland China share market finished lower for fifth consecutive session on Monday, 27 October 2014, as risk aversion selloff after Hong Kong announced a delay in a stock-connection trading program allowing foreign investment in mainland stocks. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which tracks both A and B shares, ended down 0.5%, or 11.84 points, at 2290.44, the lowest close since Sept. 22, when it settled at 2289.87.
