Colgate-Palmolive (India) standalone net profit rises 3.32% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales decline 7.35% to Rs 1062.35 crore

Net profit of Colgate-Palmolive (India) rose 3.32% to Rs 204.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 197.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales declined 7.35% to Rs 1062.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 1146.63 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.27% to Rs 816.47 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 775.57 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales rose 1.24% to Rs 4487.57 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 4432.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
