The Delhi Government will offer built up industrial complexes to business and trading community of Delhi to put up non-polluting industries in and around Delhi within a period of next three months to create additional 10,000 jobs for its people as also prevent their flight away to neighboring States of UP, Haryana and Rajasthan, according to the Chief Minister.
Addressing an Interactive Session with the members of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, Mr. Kejriwal also implored the industry to honestly submit their VAT to the Delhi Government, warning that following verifications if their VAT declarations are found false and fictitious, it will be made a cognizable offence.
The Chief Minister said that Delhi cabinet here today has approved the aforesaid decisions including utterly simplifying procedures for issuance of certificates such as death, birth, caste, income and the like through online process based on self declarations, with this we have clipped the powers of sub district magistrates and other wings of bureaucracy that took lot of a time to issue such certificates in anticipation of monetary gains that encouraged corruption, said Mr. Kejriwal.
Elaborating on the issue of industrial complexes to prospective industry owner, the Chief Minister said, a detailed plan has already been worked out as per which the Delhi Government will offer industrial complexes to prospective bidders to put up only non-polluting industry in Delhi. The industrial complexes of any size will be open for bidding for those that will put up non-polluting industries in them and create jobs for a minimum of 10,000 people. The process of allocations of such complexes to bidders will be made public shortly but the work on this front will begin in next three months, he pointed out.
Under estimated or under invoiced VAT declaration has been made a cognizable offence as per today's cabinet decision, therefore, the government expects that the business and trading community will take advantage of the fact that the government will believe their declaration and in case false and fictitious information are detected in them, the onus will rest with the industry, categorically stated the Chief Minister.
Minister of Health, Government of NCT of Delhi, Mr. Satyendra Jain appealed to the industry to liberally come forward to adopt Mohalla Clinics in different financial models ranging from 1 lac to 20,000 lacs. The Mohalla Clinics will be a great facilitator to reduce rush in the already choked hospitals.
