Dena Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (f) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 /1980 read with sub-clause (1) and (2) of clause 9 of The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/ 1980, the Central Government after consultation with Reserve Bank of India, vide notification dated 01 January 2013 had nominated Mohan Lal Gupta, Senior Manager, Dena Bank as Officer Employee Director on the Board of the Bank, for a period of three years from the date of notification of his appointment or until he ceases to be an officer of the Dena Bank, or until further orders whichever is the earliest.As per above notification, the term of Mohan Lal Gupta, as a Director on the Board of the Bank, ceases w.e.f. 01 January 2016 i.e. after completion of three years from the date of notification.
