Dharani Sugars & Chemicals net profit rises 137.97% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 47.27% to Rs 71.97 crore

Net profit of Dharani Sugars & Chemicals rose 137.97% to Rs 9.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 3.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 47.27% to Rs 71.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 136.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 33.79 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 12.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 9.38% to Rs 524.11 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 578.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
