Dish TV India standalone net profit rises 232.53% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 29.36% to Rs 514.04 crore

Net profit of Dish TV India rose 232.53% to Rs 116.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 35.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 29.36% to Rs 514.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 727.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 41476.24% to Rs 419.92 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 16.87% to Rs 2227.55 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2679.51 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
