Dr Reddy's Laboratories consolidated net profit rises 175.37% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 5.38% to Rs 3554.20 crore

Net profit of Dr Reddy's Laboratories rose 175.37% to Rs 337.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 122.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 5.38% to Rs 3554.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 3756.10 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 39.36% to Rs 1292.10 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2130.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 8.98% to Rs 14080.90 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 15470.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
