Eastern Gases standalone net profit declines 31.58% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 12.78% to Rs 62.79 crore

Net profit of Eastern Gases declined 31.58% to Rs 0.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 12.78% to Rs 62.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 71.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 14.60% to Rs 3.14 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 17.24% to Rs 267.77 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 228.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
