Elecon Engineering Company consolidated net profit rises 77.64% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 3.52% to Rs 437.14 crore

Net profit of Elecon Engineering Company rose 77.64% to Rs 53.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 30.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 3.52% to Rs 437.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 422.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 30.33% to Rs 7.49 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 10.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 1.77% to Rs 1180.23 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1201.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
