Sales decline 10.19% to Rs 161.90 crore

Net profit of Elecon Engineering Company declined 2.33% to Rs 10.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 11.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 10.19% to Rs 161.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 180.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 221.57% to Rs 27.43 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 8.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 16.06% to Rs 496.33 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 591.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
