Electrosteel Castings net profit rises 5.27% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 19.99% to Rs 593.89 crore

Net profit of Electrosteel Castings rose 5.27% to Rs 46.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 44.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 19.99% to Rs 593.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 494.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 3.42% to Rs 100.56 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 97.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 11.75% to Rs 2095.12 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1874.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
