Elgi Equipments consolidated net profit declines 39.67% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 0.71% to Rs 348.85 crore

Net profit of Elgi Equipments declined 39.67% to Rs 5.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 8.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 0.71% to Rs 348.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 351.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.62% to Rs 48.10 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 45.54 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales declined 2.52% to Rs 1307.98 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 1341.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
