Elgi Equipments net profit declines 1.55% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 1.33% to Rs 226.92 crore

Net profit of Elgi Equipments declined 1.55% to Rs 21.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 21.92 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 1.33% to Rs 226.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 229.97 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.84% to Rs 78.27 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 71.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 0.86% to Rs 820.30 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 813.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
