Elgi Rubber Company net profit declines 12.19% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 1.51% to Rs 35.65 crore

Net profit of Elgi Rubber Company declined 12.19% to Rs 4.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 5.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 1.51% to Rs 35.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 35.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 14.72% to Rs 15.12 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 17.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 2.53% to Rs 144.29 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 140.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
