Emami consolidated net profit declines 28.30% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 8.23% to Rs 616.98 crore

Net profit of Emami declined 28.30% to Rs 59.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 83.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 8.23% to Rs 616.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 570.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 9.91% to Rs 306.30 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 340.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 1.70% to Rs 2530.55 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2488.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
