Emco slumped 5.48% to Rs 25 at 14:58 IST on BSE after the company reported net loss of Rs 6.98 crore in Q2 September 2015 compared with net profit of Rs 1.10 crore in Q2 September 2014.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 28 October 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 168.46 points or 0.62% at 26,871.30.
On BSE, so far 31,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 46,000 shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a high of Rs 25.80 and a low of Rs 25 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 20 on 8 September 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 47.90 on 1 December 2014.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 13.52 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.
