Net profit of Empee Sugars & Chemicals reported to Rs 7.86 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against net loss of Rs 7.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 127.04% to Rs 115.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 50.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net loss reported to Rs 35.51 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against net loss of Rs 38.55 crore during the previous year ended September 2011. Sales declined 2.87% to Rs 390.72 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 402.27 crore during the previous year ended September 2011.
