Energy Development Company standalone net profit rises 116.98% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 90.09% to Rs 11.94 crore

Net profit of Energy Development Company rose 116.98% to Rs 4.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 90.09% to Rs 11.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 120.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 95.65% to Rs 3.15 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 22.83% to Rs 103.21 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 133.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
