Engineers India net profit declines 42.70% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 3.63% to Rs 494.83 crore

Net profit of Engineers India declined 42.70% to Rs 103.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 180.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 3.63% to Rs 494.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 513.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 23.68% to Rs 479.76 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 628.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 27.23% to Rs 1823.59 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2505.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
