Engineers India net profit declines 5.06% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales decline 58.09% to Rs 513.47 crore

Net profit of Engineers India declined 5.06% to Rs 180.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 190.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 58.09% to Rs 513.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1225.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 1.22% to Rs 628.58 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 636.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 32.25% to Rs 2505.97 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 3698.82 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
