Escorts standalone net profit declines 59.82% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 16.98% to Rs 811.22 crore

Net profit of Escorts declined 59.82% to Rs 12.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 31.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 16.98% to Rs 811.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 977.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit declined 69.49% to Rs 74.71 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 244.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales declined 36.78% to Rs 3962.27 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 6267.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
