Export of Oilmeals Dropped to 11.8 Lakh Tons during 2015-16 (April - March)

The Solvent Extractors' Association of India has compiled the export data for export of oilmeals for the month of March.,2016 as well as for the financial year 2015-16 (April - March) The export of oilmeals during March 2016 India exported 51,698 tons of oilmeals compared to 209,227 tons in March 2015 i.e. down by 75%. The total export of oilmeals during April 2015 to March 2016 is terms of quantity is reported at 1,184,441 ton compared to 2,465,663 tons during the same period of last year i.e. down by 52%. In term of value the total earning is Rs. 1510 crores compared to 4298 crores in 2014-15, down by 65%.
