Net inflow of Rs 547.80 crore on 11 September 2013

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth net Rs 547.80 crore on Wednesday, 11 September 2013, compared with net inflow of Rs 2704.50 crore on Tuesday, 10 September 2013.

The net inflow of Rs 547.80 crore on Wednesday, 11 September 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3328.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 2780.50 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 567.30 crore into the secondary equity markets on 11 September 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3325.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 2758.30 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had almost ended flat at 19,997.45 on that day.

There was a net outflow of Rs 19.50 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Wednesday, 11 September 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 22.20 crore.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 5414.40 crore in September 2013 so far (till 11 September 2013). FIIs sold shares worth a net Rs 5922.50 crore in August 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 65584.20 crore in 2013 so far (till 11 September 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
