Net inflow of Rs 700 crore on 25 October 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 700 crore on Friday, 25 October 2013, compared with net inflow of Rs 991.70 crore on Thursday, 24 October 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 700 crore on Friday, 25 October 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2316.80 crore and gross sales of Rs 1616.80 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 700.30 crore into the secondary equity markets on 25 October 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2316.80 crore and gross sales of Rs 1616.50 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had shed 41.91 points or 0.2% to settle at 20,683.52 on that day, its lowest closing level since 17 October 2013.
There was an outflow of Rs 0.20 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Friday, 25 October 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 12809.20 crore in October 2013 so far (till 25 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 13057.80 crore in September 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 86036.70 crore in 2013 so far (till 25 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
