Net inflow of Rs 1027.90 crore on 30 October 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 1027.90 crore on Wednesday, 30 October 2013, compared with net inflow of Rs 1211.60 crore on Tuesday, 29 October 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 1027.90 crore on Wednesday, 30 October 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2909 crore and gross sales of Rs 1881.10 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 1035.50 crore into the secondary equity markets on 30 October 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2909 crore and gross sales of Rs 1873.50 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had garnered 104.96 points or 0.5% to settle at 21,033.97 on that day.
There was an outflow of Rs 7.60 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Wednesday, 30 October 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013 so far (till 30 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 13057.80 crore in September 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 88933.60 crore in 2013 so far (till 30 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
