Net inflow of Rs 180.20 crore on 5 November 2013

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 180.20 crore on Tuesday, 5 November 2013.

The net inflow of Rs 180.20 crore on Tuesday, 5 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2993.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 2813.10 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 180.80 crore into the secondary equity markets on 5 November 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2993.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 2812.50 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 264.57 points or 1.25% to settle at 20,974.79 on that day, its lowest closing level since 29 October 2013.

There was an outflow of Rs 0.60 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Tuesday, 5 November 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 2189.50 crore in November 2013 so far (till 5 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 91123.20 crore in 2013 so far (till 5 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
