Net inflow of Rs 968.40 crore on 19 November 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 968.40 crore on Tuesday, 19 November 2013, higher than net inflow of Rs 892.10 crore on Monday, 18 November 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 968.40 crore on Tuesday, 19 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2860.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 1892.30 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 1062.40 crore into the secondary equity markets on 19 November 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2858.10 crore and gross sales of Rs 1795.70 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had gained 40.08 points or 0.19% to settle at 20,890.82 on that day, its highest closing level since 6 November 2013.
There was a net outflow of Rs 94 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Tuesday, 19 November 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 96.60 crore.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 7460.40 crore in November 2013 so far (till 19 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 96394.10 crore in 2013 so far (till 19 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
