Net inflow of Rs 430.80 crore on 10 December 2013

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 430.80 crore on Tuesday, 10 December 2013.

The net inflow of Rs 430.80 crore on Tuesday, 10 December 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4574 crore and gross sales of Rs 4143.20 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 438.80 crore into the secondary equity markets on 10 December 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4574 crore and gross sales of Rs 4135.20 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had shed 71.16 points or 0.33% to settle at 21,255.26 on that day, its lowest closing level since 6 December 2013.

There was an outflow of Rs 8 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Tuesday, 10 December 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 7333.40 crore in this month so far (till 10 December 2013). FIIs purchased shares worth a net Rs 8116.10 crore in November 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 104383.20 crore in 2013 so far (till 10 December 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
