Net inflow of Rs 203.10 crore on 3 March 2014
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 203.10 crore on Monday, 3 March 2014, compared with net inflow of Rs 607.80 crore on Friday, 28 February 2014.
The net inflow of Rs 203.10 crore on Monday, 3 March 2014, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2510.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 2307.60 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 204.30 crore into the secondary equity market on Monday, 3 March 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2510.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 2306.40 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 173.47 points or 0.82% to settle at 20,946.65 on that day, its lowest closing level since 25 February 2014.
There was an outflow of Rs 1.30 crore from the category 'primary market & others' on Monday, 3 March 2014.
FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 810.90 crore in this month so far (till 3 March 2014). FIIs bought shares worth net Rs 1404.30 crore in February 2014.
FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 2929.50 crore in this year so far (till 3 March 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 113135.70 crore in 2013.
