Net outflow of Rs 309.80 crore on 14 June 2013

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth net Rs 309.80 crore on Friday, 14 June 2013, compared with outflow of Rs 552.40 crore on Thursday, 13 June 2013.

The net outflow of Rs 309.80 crore on Friday, 14 June 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3378.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 3688.10 crore. There was a net outflow of Rs 295.50 crore from the secondary equity markets on 14 June 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3378.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 3673.80 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had jumped 350.77 points or 1.86% to settle at 19,177.93 on that day, its highest closing level since 10 June 2013.

There was an outflow of Rs 14.30 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Friday, 14 June 2013.

FIIs have sold shares worth Rs 1767.50 crore in June 2013 so far (till 14 June 2013). FIIs bought shares worth Rs 22168.60 crore in May 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 81437.60 crore in 2013 so far (till 14 June 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
