Net inflow of Rs 210.80 crore on 28 November 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 210.80 crore on Thursday, 28 November 2013 compared with net outflow of Rs 94.10 crore on Wednesday, 27 November 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 210.80 crore on Thursday, 28 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3154.80 crore and gross sales of Rs 2944 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 211.20 crore into the secondary equity markets on 28 November 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3154.80 crore and gross sales of Rs 2943.60 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had garnered 114.65 points or 0.56% to settle at 20,534.91 on that day, its highest closing level since 25 November 2013.
There was an outflow of Rs 0.40 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Thursday, 28 November 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 8116.10 crore in this month so far (till 28 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 97049.80 crore in 2013 so far (till 28 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
