Net inflow of Rs 1303.60 crore on 25 March 2014

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 1303.60 crore on Tuesday, 25 March 2014, compared with net inflow of Rs 1609.40 crore on Monday, 24 March 2014.

The net inflow of Rs 1303.60 crore on Tuesday, 25 March 2014, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3951.10 crore and gross sales of Rs 2647.50 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 1294.60 crore into the secondary equity market on Tuesday, 25 March 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3942.10 crore and gross sales of Rs 2647.50 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 0.27 points to settle at 22,055.21 on that day, its lowest level since 22 March 2014.

There was an inflow of Rs 9 crore into the category 'primary market & others' on Tuesday, 25 March 2014.

FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 16790.50 crore in this month so far (till 25 March 2014). FIIs bought shares worth net Rs 1404.30 crore in February 2014.

FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 18909.10 crore in this calendar year so far (till 25 March 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 113135.70 crore in 2013 calendar year.
